If Magix is just a city, than on what planet is it on? Is it even on a planet? Eraklyon, Domino, Solaria and Earth are separate planets and more than likely do not hold the city of Magix. Is Magix a planet as well as the name of one of its major cities? It's not impossible considering that in real life, Quebec is the name of a Canadian province as well as the name of its capital city.

| Let's admit it now: this is astrophysically impossible and Earthlings would have to be completely blind to not notice the ten other moons and a microgalaxy. Source. |
Lastly, what if that pink swirly thing in the picture was a portal of some sort? Where would it lead to? Magix can't be a magical paralell reality to Earth's non-magical one because Earth had magic before the events of the series, according to the events of season four. This nullifies the idea that magic is limited to one layer of reality.
There are the vague references to the "magical dimension," which semantically makes little sense at first. Dimension is defined as "a measurement of the something, such as height or width," but it is also synonymous for "confines" or "territory." With that in mind, it means that Magix does have a limited amount of space or mass or that it has some type of border. For sure, it has a physical presence.
What is Magix exactly? It could be a city, a planet, a solar system, a galaxy or something completely different from what is suggested. At the very most Magix has to be a planet, because the city, Alfea, Cloud Tower and Red Fountain have to be located on some planet.
